Arvind Kumar Singh vs. Directorate of Education

Transportation: Complainant submitted that his LTC claim for travel by taxi was denied by GBSSS Seemapuri. During the course of the proceedings and hearings, the Vice Principal submitted that the LTC Taxi fare has been sorted out after getting approvals from the competent authority. On confirmation by telephone from complainant that the matter was resolved, the case was closed.

ORDER
                   The above named complaint, a person with visual impairment   working as a lecturer of pol science in GVSSS Seemapuri, submitted vide his complaint dated 9.11.2015 that his LTC claim for travel by taxi has been denied.

2.  The complaint was taken up with the respondent vide communication dated 18.11.2015, 08.11.2016,26.12.2016,20.02.2017 and hearing.  The Vice Prinicipal of GBSSS, Seemapuri informed vide letter dated 22.03.2017 as under:


“LTC Taxi fare in r/o Sh. A.K.Singh Lec.(Pol.Sci) has been sorted out/paid after getting approval for payment from Competent authority and details are as under-
     (i)           Total payment as 90% of train fare Rs. 11898/-
     (ii)          Payment to made after adjustment-

(a) II-Ac in place of I-AC as per entitlement in Rajdhani Exp.
From  New Delhi to Patna ( to and fro) Rs. 4580+Rs. 4510=Rs.  9090/-

(b) Taxi fare (to and fro) from Patna to Ajgara Rs. 1400x2=2800/-

(c) Total of (a)+(b)= Rs. 9090+Rs. 2800=Rs.11890/-

(d) Excess amount paid back by Sh. Arvind Kumar Singh, Rs. 11898-Rs. 11890=Rs 8/-(Rupee Eight only) vide challan N0. 328 dt 01.03.2016 to Treasury.

3.      The complainant was also contacted on telephone and he confirmed that the matter has been resolved.  In view of this, the case is closed and disposed off  accordingly.
