ORDER

The above named complainant, a person with loco motor disability vide his email requested that in view of the judgment of Hon’ble Supreme Court of  India, in the case of Rajeev Kumar Gupta & others versus Union of India & others writ petition (civil) No. 521 of 2008 with civil Appeal No. 5389 of 2016(arising out of SLP(Civil) No.244 of 2016, he may be considered for Danics/equivalent rank post as he has become eligible for the same.  

The complaint was taken up with the respondent vide communications dated 05.09.2016,3.11.2016,13.11.2016 and a hearing . The respondent vide letter dated 24.01.2017 informed that Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India, vide this letter dated 23.12.2016 has forwarded a copy of the DoP&T ID note No. 36035/2/2016-Estt.(Res) dated 09.12.2016 (copy enclosed) vide which it has been informed that DoP&T has filed a Review Petition ( c ) No. 3719 of 2016 before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India. In view of this, the case is closed and disposed off  accordingly.
